Darcy Smyth

Darcy is a revenue psychology nerd. He has spent over a decade teaching the psychology of selling to thousands of salespeople across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the US and Canada — and he is the one who finds the single thing capping your number, then sits beside your team on the big deals until it moves. Host of the Bloodlines podcast, AFL diehard, and a perfectly average golfer.

Steve Claydon

Steve has spent fifteen years helping founders, leaders and sales teams get more out of themselves than they thought they could. He built the gamified platforms — The Sales Game, The Leadership Game, The Outbound Game — that put the work into practice instead of a notebook. Seven-time author, and a firm believer that business is the ultimate game: played best with courage, creativity and character.

Why we exist

Advice is cheap. Results are not.

We're a revenue growth firm, not a training library. You get the two of us across the table, not a deck and a wave goodbye.

The person across that table is usually the founder, owner, managing director or senior leader of a project-centric construction or manufacturing business. They're winning work, but every difficult, unusual or commercially sensitive decision still finds its way back to them. They don't need more things to try. They need someone to name the one thing to do next, work the fix with their team, and put their own money on being right.

What we hold to

Three things we won't trade.

  1. 01

    The One Constraint

There is usually a single thing capping the number, and it is rarely the one you would name. Naming it, then running the Sweet Spot Analysis to point the pipeline at the right work, beats a list of twenty improvements nobody will make.

  2. 02

In the room, not on a deck

We work the fix with your people. No handover document standing in for the work itself.

  3. 03

    Paid on the outcome

A modest retainer plus a share of the deals we help you win. If the number doesn't move, we don't get paid the part that matters.

Most of this work happens across a table like this one — your numbers, our call, and a plan your team can run.
